My name is Jen Holmes, and I'm a single, childless woman in my 40s who loves everything about travel. From the initial planning to the airports and hotels to meeting new people and the amazing sites, I love it all.

Home is Tampa, FL in the US, and I fund my travel through a full time job in IT Project/Portfolio Management.

Flew to Barcelona for a 7-day Mediterranean Cruise on the Norwegian Epic. I stayed in one of their Studio Cabins meant for solo travelers. This was a very port intensive cruise, and I went all-out on excursions through NCL.
I took my mom on a short cruise between Christmas and New Years with stops in Cuba and the Bahamas. Was so glad to have the opportunity to visit Cuba while we could.
I spent a few days in London prior to a girls trip in Iceland with two of my good friends from College.
Flew to San Juan, Puerto Rico just after Christmas to board a 7 night cruise on the Norwegian Epic. I again stayed in their studio cabins and made some good friends at their nightly solo cruiser meet ups.
I took a 9 day cruise on the Norwegian Getaway. The trip started out great, but ended in isolation, positive for Covid-19.
Planes, Trains, and Automobiles were the theme on this trip to the UK. I spent time with friends in London, but also ventured out to explore more of England, Wales, and Scotland.
I extended a trip up north to spend 10 days in an AirBnB in Traverse City, Michigan prior to going back to my alma mater to see Notre Dame take on the Cal Bears.
Traveled to Los Angeles to see friends and attend the Notre Dame vs USC football game. Afterwards, I took a 5 day Mexican Riviera cruise on the Norwegian Bliss.
I went on my first cruise out of my home port on the RCL Brilliance of the Seas. This was a short 4 day cruise to Cozumel that got extended by a few hours due to fog. I sailed solo in an aft balcony that was amazing.
